We research new prostate cancer treatments to give men a better chance to beat cancer

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On 13/09/16 we will be challenging ourselves to complete a stage of the 2016 Deloitte Ride Across Britain. The whole course is 969 miles over 9 days, Land's End to John O'Groats. We will be aiming to complete Stage 4 which is 105 miles, starting at Ludlow race course and finishing at Haydock race course.

Lesley completed this same stage last year and realised it is a fantastic way to get fit and push yourself  beyond your limits, whilst at the same time raising money for a very worthy cause. Gary has some catching up to do :+).

We have decided to raise sponsorship to support The Prostate Project due to the fantastic work that it does in giving men a better chance of beating prostate cancer.  Prostate cancer has become the biggest cancer killer of men. Each year over 40,000 men in the UK are told they have prostate cancer and more than 11,000 die of the disease.

Univar, the company which Lesley works for, has been supporting The Prostate Project for the past 6 years and it has a very special and personal meaning for Univar.

For more information about The Prostate Project please visit www.prostate-project.org.uk

We hope you will be able to support us for this very worthy cause, all donations will be greatly appreciated. In return we promise to party less and train hard.

Thanks,

Lesley & Gary
