Hi folks, I'm taking this challenge to highlight the need for funds to keep this very worthwhile charity open. Mark and the volunteers there do a sterling job, and it's not just food parcels, they also have counselling and other support available and work tirelessly helping those in our community who need it the most. 

Every penny they get is put to good use, as you can see from the wall behind me in the picture, money isn't squandered on things like fancy decor or anything wasteful. When I've been at rock bottom, homeless and waiting on benefits they were there for me, with food and kind words. The kind words themselves maybe helped even more at the time, making sure I knew that there was no need for the embarrassment I felt asking for help, that my situation was far from unique, and pointing me towards that light at the end of the tunnel that seemed so very far away at the time.

For that help I'll be forever grateful and it's why I'm doing this challenge. If you can help with any amount at all, however small, it will be put to the best possible use. There will be an extra 25% of all donations put in by Gift Aid which is why this is the best format for me to raise any funds I can, plus the money goes straight into a First Base account where it is needed the most.
