I'll be taking part in the London Marathon again on 24 April. What? You didn't know?

I was reluctant to ask for sponsorship again as it means asking the same people for donations. You were all so generous last time, helping me raise over £1200 (less my cut) for Haven House Children's Hospice.

This time I'll be raising money for the St John Bosco Children's Camp, an organisation that I've been lucky enough to be involved with for the last 20 years. Children come to the camp from a variety of backgrounds which can include, one parent families, overcrowding at home, alcohol and drug abuse within the family, recent bereavements, or perhaps they may be in care. The camp aims to give these children a holiday to remember in a caring environment, something which they may not be used to.

£150 pays for one child to attend the camp for a week. For an extra tenner, they get to sleep inside the tent. Just kidding.
