Hello everybody, I am running an off-road marathon in May 2016. Ive decided to do it for Search and Rescue Aid. S.A.R.A.I.D is a British charity dedicated to trying to save the lives of innocent victims of disaster, as well as relieving human suffering around the world regardless of colour, creed, religion and political persuasion.

They specialise in Urban Search & Rescue regardless of location and have a team of dedicated, highly trained volunteers on standby 24/7, every single day of the year. Team members don't receive a penny from the organisation in the form of wages or expenses, all donations are used to support deployments.

S.A.R.A.I.D not only provide a response team once a disaster has happened but are also working with countries to provide advice and training on how to cope in the initial 24 hours of the disaster.
