Story

In August 2015 I became an ambassador for Heartbeat of sport after the sudden death of my brother Danny Jones in May 2015, who sadly collapsed while playing rugby for Keighley cougars and died of a cardiac arrest.

Myself and my families aim is to raise awareness and help raise money to assist fantastic charities like Heartbeat of sport to share knowledge and provide lifesaving equipment to be able to possibly stop the unfortunate loss that our family has endured .

Myself  and 6 friends  Aaron Mcloughlin,Matthew Adams, Craig Smith,Gerrard Martin, Richard Armstrong,Craig Broadbent,we are setting ourselves a hardcore golf challenge.

Which will consist of 3 rounds of golf played in 3 different  countries all in the same day. Before all you women (golf widow's ) reading this page say "bloody golf " let me just say ,by the end of the day we will have walked in excess of  15 miles while carrying roughly 20kg on our backs, and swinging a golf club (in my case a lot!) and travelled 511 miles !!

We will begin our challenge in Wrexham North Wales , then journey up to Southport where we will play our 2nd round (England ) then play our final round in Scotland at Torwoodlee  . All 3 rounds must be walked ,and there will be no use of golf buggies.

Thank you for taking the time to read our page
