We are being very brave/crazy and we are taking part in the Great Birmingham Run Sunday 16th October. We are doing this to raise some much needed funds for Edgewood Road Children’s Home. Edgewood Road is run by Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust and Birmingham City Council we provide short breaks for children and young people with profound and multiple learning disabilities and complex care needs. The funds that we raise are to help improve our facilities to make it more enjoyable for the young people during their stay with us, one of our plans is to create an outdoor play area with swings that are adaptable for children in wheelchairs to use. One of our other aims is to increase our profile at Edgewood Road and share what we do with more children, young people and their families and professionals to make our service more known and accessible. So if you could all dig deep and share this post we would really appreciate it.
