Story

The team at Genius Gluten Free like a challenge so it's no surprise that our first company team challenge is a BIG one!  On the 5th  and 6th of September 2015 a team of 40 Genius employees from across our three sites at Bathgate, Hull and Edinburgh will undertake the, "Three Peaks Challenge".

Over the two days we will be climbing the three highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland:

Scafell Pike England’s biggest mountain at 978 meters

Snowdon the biggest mountain in Wales at 1085 metres

Ben Nevis Scotland’s biggest mountain at 1344 meters

This is a physically demanding challenge and all the participants are committing a great deal of their own time to make sure they are fully prepared come September.  Training is well underway and has included two Team Genius walking events in the Pentland Hills and Yorkshire Dales.

We have nominated Coeliac UK to be our Genius charity for 2015. To really encourage our climbers we are looking to raise as much as we possibly can for CoeliacUK and truly appreciate any donation you can make. You can name individual climbers in your pledge or you can pledge for “Team Genius”.   Either way, every penny will go to Coeliac UK to help with the brilliant work they do supporting people with coeliac disease and dermatitis herpetiformis.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page and supporting our fundraising efforts.
