Story

On 31st of July, in Maastricht, Holland, I ‘m going to attempt to swim 2.4 miles, cycle 112 miles, and then (improbable as it still sounds to me!) run a marathon!

To make this slightly crazy endeavour feel a bit more meaningful, I’m supporting the Clock Tower Sanctuary – an amazing local charity that helps young people with nowhere to call home get back on track, so being homeless doesn’t become their long-term situation. am a trustee and Vice-Chair of the charity, and have had links with them since 2009, so know first-hand what great work they do, and the growing need for the service…as well as helping ensure they spend their money wisely!

If you only want to sponsor me to do one (more?) event - please make it this one. It’ll be the hardest thing I’ve done in the six years since I took my first tentative steps into the world of endurance exercise and I don’t intend trying anything like this again!

Many thanks for reading, please consider sponsoring me, any donation will be very gratefully received by the Clock Tower Sanctuary.
