In the last 4 years 2nd Croydon Scout Group, one of the oldest in the world, has acheived 545% growth.

This has been a direct result of the hard work of Leaders, Parents and of course the youngsters themselves.

The programme of activities that have been taking place during the last 4 years has been phenomenal, hence the massive growth with more than 160 young people Scouting every week.

We now need to invest in Leader Training and additional equipment in order to be able to continue to offer the range of activities to even more young people.

That's why, on 23 June I, my brother Liam along with several other Leaders and Helpers will be wlaking 17.5 miles of the Green Chain walk from the Thames Barrier back to our HQ in Cintra Park, Crystal Palace.

We'll be joined along the route by Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Young Leaders and parents, making it a real Group effort.
