Story

Our dad sadly passed away almost 2 years ago to the day from the date of this year's London Marathon.  We're indebted to the fantastic people at the Hospice of the Good Shepherd in Chester for their love and care in looking after dad in the months before he died and for the tremendous support they gave to my mum in looking after dad.

We could think of no more fitting tribute to our dad and to the people at the Hospice by raising funds for this amazing charity which does so much to give care and support to people with serious illness and to their families. Running the London Marathon for the Hospice is the perfect opportunity to try to show a small token of our gratitude.

We really appreciate any donation however small (or large!!) and we know our dad will be looking down, running with us in spirit and that he will be delighted the Hospice is getting the support it richly deserves!
