Story

Homelessness is a plight that can happen to anyone.

On the 25th November some of us will spend a night sleeping-out in cardboard boxes to raise awareness and money to provide a winter shelter to take rough sleepers off the streets in the coldest winter months.

Over the last few years the London and Slough Run has provided a winter shelter in Slough from early January through to the end of March, with the help of many volunteers and local amenities.

The shelter gives rough sleepers in Slough a warm dinner and breakfast together with providing a safe, warm, dry place to spend the night during the coldest of months.

It would be fantastic if you can spare £5 to help provide food or £15 to pay for the cost of one rough sleeper to spend the night in the Shelter.

Thank-you.
