We are taking part in this challenge to try and make a difference to the lives of the homeless clients that we work with in Sunderland.

We have 4 projects in Sunderland, Outreach- this helps people who are homeless, whether this be street homeless, sofa surfing or no fixed abode. Hostel in reach- this has teams in 2 private hostels in Sunderland, Homeless hospital prevention service- this helps people who find themselves going in and out of hospital because of homelessness, and helping with their health needs in the community, and we have GAP and MAP. This service is for women and men that have been or are at the risk of sexual exploitation.

I also run a veterans service called Veterans in Crisis Sunderland (VICS), this helps veterans that are either homeless or in need of help from drugs or alcohol.
