Story

ENABLE Scotland is a dynamic charity founded in 1954 by the parents of children who had learning disabilities in order to ensure that people with learning disabilities have the same choices and opportunities in life as everyone else. ENABLE provide a range of person centred services designed to ensure that people who have learning disabilities can live the life they want and actively participate in their community.

Our team "Gies a Backie" consists of members from ENABLE Scotland, including Personal Assistants, Managers, and People We Support.  We are walking to change the lives of children in Scotland, for the better!

Please help us by donating or coming along on the day to cheer us on, but be warned - we may ask you to "Gies a Backie!" due to aching, tired feet!
