Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

They say 'everyone has a book in them'. Maybe, but I am never going to find time to write it! But a poem? I don't think I've tried that since school unless you count the following Limerick:

Leaving Luton by means of a ship

The captain was once heard to quip

There's land all around

That's why we're aground

But I hope you're enjoying the trip.

So I am challenging myself to join in the poem-a-thon for a marvellous charity (for which I volunteer as Chair of its Trustee Board) by writing and performing something original and (hopefully) entertaining (and not a Limerick!). Or maybe it will be thought-provoking? In other words, at the moment I don't have a clue, which makes it all the more exciting!
