As a team we are running the Worcester 10k to raise money for the Worcester Oncology Centre. Our aim is to build a new chemotherapy and outpatient area in the new Oncology Centre and we are running to raise money to achieve our vision of providing patients with all aspects of cancer care in an environment which is conducive to improving health and positive outcomes.

The Centre opened to patients in January 2015 and our team have been heavily involved in developing the local cancer services for patients in Worcestershire. The new Centre not only enables Worcestershire cancer patients to receive treatment closer to home where previously they had faced daily trips to Coventry, Cheltenham or Wolverhampton; but also in a purpose built non-clinical environment with state of the art modern equipment and treatments.

To date, feedback from patients has been exceptional and has been a huge motivating factor in continued development of the Centre.

Our team is hoping to raise money to complete this building work to improve the services even more for cancer patients and hope that you will be able to support us in this endeavour.
