Hi,

My name is Golboo, and I have recently graduated in Biomedical sciences. This summer I am going to donate my hair to raise fund for a Leukaemia research charity, carried out by Dr Tosi at Brunel University London. I will be donating my hair to the Little Princess Trust, providing free real hair wigs for children suffering from cancer and resulted hair loss.

Leukaemias are the most common childhood cancers and approximately every four minutes, someone is diagnosed with some type of blood cancer. Dr Tosi is a member of the European Cytogeneticists Association (ECA) and works on the genetic basis of Leukaemia, bringing over 25 years of experience, to investigate chromosomal rearrangements typically related with different forms of this disease. 

The fund raised here, will go toward Dr Tosi's Leukaemia research charity, and will be used to support a PhD scholarship, offering outstanding and excellent students the chance to undertake a career in Leukaemia research, so that  promising new research ideas will not go un-investigated. I will be supporting this event, as I believe research is the only way to advance our knowledge of Leukaemia and other cancers to ultimately change the lives of sufferers. 

So let's fight this together, for those who won the fight, for those who are still fighting, and in memory of those who lost the battle. You can make this happen as every single step counts.
