To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the DofE Award , which has it origins at Gordonstoun., the whole school (all 600 students and 150 staff) are spending the penultimate day of the summer term on a Gordonstoun Diamond Challenge. Each student, aged 7 to 18, will opt to walk a designated route back to the school of varying levels of difficulty; Gold route 18 miles, Silver route 10 miles or Bronze route 5 miles. In addition, students may choose to theme their Challenge in keeping with an aspect of the DofE, for example their skill or service. The day will end with an anniversary celebration back at school for the whole school community. Gordonstoun really looks forward to raising funds for this worthy cause and to having a fun and challenging day in the process
