Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am arranging the seventh annual sponsored walk of Gower on Saturday 4th June 2016 (with over 40 walkers) to raise funds for Teacher Aid, supporting orphans and vulnerable children in Zambia. We are raising funds this year to support over 300 children who attend the Good Samaritan School in Lusaka  - a school that the charity has now supported for 10 years. We fund some of the teachers' salaries at the school and have recently restarted the feeding programme, (which had stopped because the American charity funding the programme were unable to continue). The school which has excellent results, provides education for children who would otherwise be unable to attend school because they are too poor. A third are orphans and most have lost one parent.  Every penny raised by us goes direct to the schools we support in Zambia.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks for reading,if you are able to support us in any way we would be very grateful.
