Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Our daughter Gracie Linn was diagnosed with Leukemia on 12th March 2015. She is 10 years old. On 13th March 2015 we had to tell Gracie that the treatment and medication she needed would make her hair fall out. Immediately she said she wanted to donate her hair to a good cause (the little princess trust) and would rather shave it off than have her illness make it fall out. We thought we could ask friends and family to donate towards the Sick Kids in Edinburgh who are looking after her and children in the same position. That is our daughter. And her mum, dad and sister Zoe are very proud of her.

About the charity

We believe that nothing should get in the way of being a child. We exist to transform the experiences of children and young people in hospital so they can be a child first and a patient second.
