Story
The Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (HSP) Support Group is a registered
charity which aims to help people diagnosed with Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia [also known as Familial Spastic Paraparesis]. HSP is a diagnosis which covers a range of rare genetic disorders. People of all age groups can be affected. The main symptoms are stiffness and/or paralysis in the lower limbs. HSP causes degeneration of the upper motor neurons within the brain and spinal cord.

Through this site you can sponsor me as I embark on 3 Marathons and 2 Ultra Marathons each progressively more difficult than the last. My aim is simple, raise as much hard cash as I can for this well deserving
charity, for every pound I raise my employer, Atos IT Services UK Ltd, will match, it up to £200 for each event, so please give as much or as little as you can as for every £1 donated HSP Support Group will receive £2.25 (with Gift Aid).
