Please help! I’ve been challenged to enter a rather ‘high’ profile event…100ft high to be precise!
I am being hoisted 100ft in the air to the top of the mast of an ocean-going yacht in the middle of Cowes Yacht Haven, and they’ll only let me down once I’ve taken a selfie at the top, and raised money for UKSA’s Cowes Week fundraising campaign!
UKSA is a youth charity that believes in the power of the sea to make a change; helping young people transform their lives for the better. All the money raised from kind donors and their professional training courses helps UKSA make a positive difference in the lives of the 9,000 young people they welcome through their doors every year.
UKSA’s Youth Development programmes use on-the-water activities as the catalyst for positive change, giving participants the chance to get their lives back on track. UKSA put young offenders and the long-term unemployed out on the water, spending time with positive role models. They teach life skills alongside vital work skills, bridging the gap between where our young adults find themselves and where they want to go.
They have ambitious plans for Cowes Week 2015 … UKSA want to raise £100,000 to support 100 young people through a life changing development programme.
Please pledge some money to help UKSA.
