Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Stuart was a close friend of David Ian's for years before he passed away in November 2010. They had met through a mutual friend and David Ian quickly realised he was going to get on with Stuart. They shared some great times together, including two boys' holidays and plenty of nights out!
I knew Stuart through my best friend's older brother, and the first time I met him we were young teenagers, little did I know then what a great guy Stuart was. I was lucky enough to get to know him in the following years.
When we decided to start the business, Stuart couldn't have been more supportive, and we will always be grateful for all that he did in helping us get going. Including driving the tractor from the farm, through Rugby town into the workshop to move equipment!
Stuart was in London when he had an accident, falling and hitting the back of his head, causing a deep cut and concussion. He spent the week following in Coventry University Hospital in an induced coma whilst they tried to reduce the swelling on his brain. Stuart died on November 27th 2010, aged 28.
When we said goodbye at Stuarts Funeral, it was testament to his wonderful personality and character that the church was full with over 400 people attending. I'm sure that everyone there had been touched by Stuart's kindness, generosity and sincerity. There was nothing he wouldn't do for a friend when they needed him, and it showed.
We remember Stuart all the time, but there are special times in our lives that we deeply wish Stuart was here to share them with us. Now we are getting married we want to include him in our day, in whatever way we can.
Remember Stuart with us, and may he be peacefully happy where he is now.
