At Green & Co, our staff choose the charities they would like to support in our three charity events that take place throughout the year. On this occasion, it is Nick Park's charity choice - Headway.

Director at Green & Co, Nick has a personal interest in fundraising for Headway, a charity that works with brain injury sufferers. In 2011, Nick's nephew, Nathan, spent six weeks in a coma - with doctors giving him little chance of survival - after he was assaulted in Cyprus. Since then, with the help of Headway, Nathan has achieved a remarkable physical recovery, competing in this year's London Marathon and raising £5,000 for the charity.

We would like to continue this fundraising effort by doing a non-stop sponsored walk around Cwmbran on Wednesday 9th July 2014 and hope to calculate how many miles and we have walked throughout the day!
