Fundraising for The Cambodian Children's Charity
Story
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><span>In</span><span> </span><span>March</span><span> </span><span>2012,</span><span> </span><span>we</span><span>'</span><span>ll</span><span> start a round the world trip with 3 weeks in the NFO </span><span> </span><span>Cambodian</span><span> </span><span>orphanage. What better way to take</span><span> </span><span>a</span><span> </span><span>break</span><span> </span><span>from</span><span> </span><span>our</span><span> </span><span>engineers'</span><span> </span><span>life</span><span> </span><span>and start our trip than getting to know Cambodian kids in the need, and making a real difference where help is most badly needed??</span></p>
<p>We're both really excited and have thought of dozens of way to help them, but more than just time and sweat, this will also require money. Any help from you guys will be hugely useful, especially as there is no small donation: (see link below for items they need, starting from 0.25 $ !).</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: &amp;amp;quot;">CamKids - The Cambodian Children’s Charity, is a UK Registered charity (Registration No: 1116862) which has been funding projects for children in Cambodia since 2006. In that time, CamKids has raised over $1 million from public donations to fund education, medical, orphanage and community support programmes in Cambodia. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: &amp;amp;quot;">CamKids is run entirely by its Trustees and has no administrative or overhead costs – all the services which CamKids requires are donated by supporters of the Charity. CamKids believes that it is inefficient to establish its own presence in Cambodia and has chosen to work with local NGOs, such as NFO.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: &amp;amp;quot;">CamKids is not involved in the management of NFO or the running of its programmes and is therefore not responsibility for its activities or final use of the funds. CamKids’ sole role is to act as an efficient collector and disburser of funds to NFO, which is performed every calendar quarter.</span></p>
