Story
This is the big one!
After 5 years of running and fundraising for Amaze, the star of our group, Greg Hewitt, has stepped up to the mark to be the first to run the full marathon.
It is Greg's first marathon and we are incredibly grateful that he has chosen to run for such a special charity that is close to our hearts. Indeed, Greg has run in every fundraising race that we have done and we can't thank him enough.
Ever eager to get involved, Jagger is also running in the mini marathon and is super happy to be taking part!
The continued support from our family and friends has been incredible and overwhelming- in the 5 years we have been fundraising for Amaze we have managed to raise an incredible amount of money to help them keep going with their much needed work.
Amaze is a local Brighton charity that supports families with children with special needs- a charity that is close to our heart since Laura and Ian's oldest son Jagger was diagnosed with Autism just before his 3rd Birthday. Prior to the diagnosis we had no knowledge of autism so we really wanted information. Amaze were there to offer support and guidance. They helped us to think differently about autism.
Jagger is now 7 years old and making tremendous progress, his communication and social skills have improved dramatically.
Jagger is a great inspiration for a great challenge.
Thank you all so much for the continued support and donations.
