Firstly, A big thank you  for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 5th October I'll be running the Cardiff half marathon with some supportive friends in memory of my beautiful baby boy Griff.  

Griff sadly passed away in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Cardiff after a tragic accident.  

His sudden death has been the most heartbreaking time for my family and I just want some good to come out of this tragedy.  The PICU staff were simply fantastic and the support they gave us will never be forgotten. 

As many of you know I'm not exactly the sporty type so completing this half marathon really is a big challenge for me.  The money raised will go to the PICU and will be used to help raise money for a nurse to go on a counselling course, buy memory boxes and decorate relatives rooms in the new children's  hospital.

Griff was the most gorgeous baby boy in the world and while no amount of money will bring him back knowing that I'm helping other families who have to cope with the pain of having a seriously unwell child means that at least some good has come out of all this.

Every single donation no matter how small will be gratefully received and will be going to a fantastic cause.
