Dame Hannah's is one of the UK's oldest charities, established with a large donation from Dame Hannah Rogers (hence the name) back in 1767. It is dedicated to enabling children and young adults with profound and most extreme physical and/or learning disabilities. It also aims to challenge societal beliefs and cultural acceptances with disabled children and adults. 

Next year is its 250th anniversary - hence the £250 target. 

Personally, I would sponsor me 'per mile' rather than time - expected to be around the 3hr mark (12 miles x 19stone 7lbs....)
