Story

White Water Rafting
at Lee Valley White Water Centre

As part of the Brookfield Multiplex wide initiative in support of Chickenshed, the Old Burlington Street Project and Fetter Lane Project will be joining forces for a unique White Water Rafting adventure. Experience the thrills of white water rafting at the world class venue where Team GB won Gold and Silver in Canoe Slalom at the London 2012 Olympics.

On Thursday 20 August 12 teams of 9 will hurtle down grade-four rapids for a 2-hour stint on what has been described as the 'best white water course in the world’. A competitive twist has been added to ensure that this is the ultimate challenge for participants. The rafting sessions will take place between 4pm and 7pm, and then the teams will have the opportunity to dry off and enjoy a summer BBQ as the adrenaline calms down and the evening draws in.

This a unique experience that will see you challenged on the same course that the world’s best athletes faced. The cost of entering a team is inclusive of all equipment and food (excludes drinks from the bar) and all of the proceeds from the event will go directly to Chickenshed’s ongoing work with children and young people.
