In October 2015 Guldeford House met and received the (first-hand) story of Rusha Chudasama's struggle to survive life on the streets of India with her brothers, through to the successes that she enjoys today.

So many children in India are deprived of love, education and aspiration; something that we take for granted. In the coming months and years Guldeford aim to forge a deep and long-lasting relationship with El Shaddai to give young children in India a fighting chance for life and success.

To kick start the partnership, the House staff will be put through their paces in October 2016 and cycling over 600km in just 8-days along Indian roads.  We will keep you up to date with our journey to India and our challenges over the 8 days. There will be ups and downs along the way, I am sure, but for a truly worthwhile cause.

Our trip will finish at El Shaddai where we hope to be able to take some of our Guldeford girls in time to come. We are very excited and ‘up for the adventure’, even the training which has now started (ouch)! Our first
challenge though, is to get us there! We are hoping that if you would like to contribute to a charity this year, you might choose El Shaddai, and help us raise enough funds to get us to India as well as support some of the amazing work that happens to give some of India's street children the very best start in life.
