Having successfully won a place on the Ride London 100 cycling event, I was keen to take the opportunity to raise some money for a charity that had some particular resonance with me. Being a resident of Northamptonshire and a long time Northampton Saints supporter, I have decided to support the Leon Barwell Foundation which was set up in memory of the Northampton Saints chairman and is very much aimed at helping people in Northamptonshire. This is a great charity that helps families who have a family member suffering from cancer.

I am aiming to complete the 100 mile full course with my friend Emily on 31st July. Training has already begun and I'm confident we will make it to the end of this major sporting event which attracts attention from around the world.
