In March 2014, our precious younger daughter Siân Aishwarya Mellor, suddenly passed away at The Royal Brompton Hospital, London, aged 21 months.   

Siân was born with several holes in her heart, however the prognosis, further to surgery, was for continuation of her happy, healthy life.  For reasons we do not yet know, Siân ran into post surgery difficulty whilst in Intensive Care and tragically passed away.

Having been given the news every parent dreads and in the agonising moments prior, my wife and I didn't receive the support and care we desperately required.  We do not want other parents, guardians and siblings to suffer the same experience.

As one of Siân's many legacies, our intention, with your support, is therefore to put in place a support and care provision at The Royal Brompton Hospital for families receiving life changing news. 

Siân arrived in the world a miracle and left it an angel having given the ultimate gift through organ donation.  The gift of life to a 1 year old baby boy and to an adult in her twenties.
