Walking the Wall for our Furry Friends!

On Wednesday 4th April 2012, two generations of the Blower family will embark upon a week of walking, in an attempt to cover the entire 84 mile length of Hadrian's Wall.

Mother and sons will begin at Wallsend on the East coast and hope to reach Bowness-on-Solway on the West, with the intention of raising vital funds for the North Somerset based, Hollyhedge Animal Sanctuary.

Based in Barrow Gurney, the registered charity provides care and protection for animals in need due to illness, injury, maltreatment, neglect or abandonment. It is a place that has been close to the our hearts since 1996 when we adopted Holly, a border collie who had been rescued by Holly Hedge and was a cherished member of our family for 13 years.

Your donations, no matter how large or small, are hugely appreciated, as every penny can help Holly Hedge provide animals with shelter from harm and the promise of a brighter future.

Thank you!
