Story
We hope you will join us here at the Bat Conservation Trust in transforming your Halloween celebrations into something positive for bats, download our Halloween Fundraising pack and pick up a few bat facts to do a bit of fundraising and myth busting at the same time:
£5 will help us educate and promote bats in a school
£15 will help the Bat Helpline give bat-saving advice to a concerned caller
£50 would help towards monitoring vulnerable bat populations
£100 would help us investigate a crime against bats
£150 will help us train two volunteer bat carers to look after injured bats
Even if you are not celebrating Halloween you can still donate and help Britain's brilliant bats.
In October bats are cropping up everywhere, in shops, pubs and in our homes but they are more than just a decoration. Bats are unique and play a vital role in our environment but during the last century bat populations have suffered severe declines. To secure the future of bats in an ever changing world we need to tackle the threats to bats, whether that is misconceptions, destruction of bat roosts or loss of feeding grounds.
