Story
Bats get a bad rap at Halloween, thrown in with all the monsters, ghosts and ghouls. The Bat Conservation Trust aims to change all that and show people how lovely bats are and how important their activities are for our ecosystems.
Join me and some of my friends at our unofficial party in aid of BCT at 7pm, 31st October at the Dog House Pub, Kennington Road Vauxhall, to celebrate bats and raise money to help protect them and increase awareness.
We're planning music, cakes, costumes and some fantastic raffle prizes. Make sure to don your finest Halloween garb, lest ye incur a fine at the door and suffer the terrible fate of amateur face painting!
Tickets are a very reasonable £5 so please book now! Once you have paid, leave your email address and number of tickets, or email your details to fundraisingforbats@hotmail.com, so I can email through your tickets.
Last year's party aimed to raise £400 but completely smashed their target and made over £600! This year I want to rival that success so come on everyone, dust off your witches brooms and fake blood and join in for a fantastic cause!
