We help poor paralysed people in Bangladesh to recover independent lives in the family.

Story

Hi Everyone,

In August I will be flying out to Dhaka, Bangladesh with my main girl Charlotte Walker to spend a month volunteering at the wonderful CRP. (centre for rehabilitation of the paralysed. (http://www.crp-bangladesh.org/index.php).The CRP relies on support from charities such as the Valerie Taylor Trust, a charity set up with the main aim of helping in the treatment, care and rehabilitation of disabled poor people throughout Bangladesh. (http://www.valerietaylortrust.org/)

Sooo on the 29th of May i'll be running in the Edinburgh marathon, my first ever marathon and i'm scared. Please sponsor me and give me some extra motivation to get me through the 26.2 and help raise some money for a great cause.

Also just so you know all money raised on here will go straight to the Valerie Taylor Trust and not to fund any part of my trip.

THANKS

The goal of the Valerie Taylor Trust is to financially contribute to the treatment, rehabilitation and reintegration into the community of disabled people in Bangladesh, particularly those in financial need. We also aim to assist with education of the public and relevant health care workers about the problems faced by disabled people and ways in which these difficulties can be overcome.
