Hello!

Firstly, I would like to sincerely thank-you for visiting my fundraising page.  I have designed this page specifically for any friends who would like to help me fundraise through donation, in aid of the fantastic charity, The Psoriasis Association.

I was diagnosed with psoriasis when I was 13 and without doubt, living with the condition has been both unpredictable and at times highly emotional.  As there is yet still no cure, I have had to learn to cope with the visible and mental effects of my disease and the sunsequent impact it has upon my life and those who care for me.  Thanks to the dedication of my dermatologist Dr Helen Lewis, I am now able to administer a biologic drug that controls the often volitile nature of my skin's reproductive cycle.  However, I understand acutely that despite the wonders of western medicine and science, with no cure, this is something I will probably have to deal with for the duration of my life.

SO.... IT'S TIME TO GIVE SOMETHING BACK...

Last year, I was lucky enough to meet Maryse Westcott (Stone the Crows Clothing) who was able to share my experiences regarding living with the disease, as her Mum also suffered severely from psoriasis. Together, we decided that we would like to make a difference and contribute in any way that we could, primarily through fundraising for The Psoriasis Association.  In addition to monatry contribution, an important part of our aim is to also try and help shape better understanding about the condition, by speaking-out and sharing our experiences with others.

July 2012 will be the focus of our fundraising activities with an organised skydive and charity event held in Leicester, UK.  This event will include an array of live music and celebration of the arts, including an EXCLUSIVE performance from my band The Toy Hearts.  Full details for the event are listed bleow:
