Hi everyone,

On 12th May I will be taking part in a 720m Zip Wire challenge which is the longest in the UK!!!

I am raising money for SARA (Severn Area Rescue Association) in memory of my Dad who was an active member and sadly passed away on 21st March.

SARA is the local lifeboat and mountain rescue team for the Severn and Wye area and during his time as a member my Dad was a Helmsman, RYA Powerboat Instructor and for a time was Deputy Chairman on the Executive Committee.

He was passionate about his work for SARA and I am grateful for the opportunity to help fundraise in memory of him, especially as SARA receives no government funding!

I'm also scared of heights so this will be a personal challenge for me but nothing compared to the challenge my Dad faced for the past 2 years in battling with cancer.
