Story

"A fun fitness fundraiser to raise money for school shoes for children in Sri Lanka"

Support our 'Happy Feet' team of 16 friends and family in the 10K challenge at Fitness First Ilford as they walk, run & cycle to help raise money for this wonderful charity. All proceeds will go towards providing school shoes for underprivileged/orphan children in Northern and Eastern province of Sri Lanka.

Every £5 raised will provide one child a new pair of school shoes and a little happiness.  Many of these children travel 4/5 miles (each way) in the heat to school often without any breakfast and through very rough dusty terrains.  We hope to raise enough funds to help at least 200 children.

In addition for those who would like to kick start their summer exercising, we are hosting a fun packed day at the Fitness First Ilford. For one day only £5 entry (pay on the door) will give you full access to the gym (8am - 8pm) and its classes (click here for Timetable). There will be a variety of fun friendly fitness challenges with prizes and a selection of tasty bites from our fab food stall. There is something for everyone; spin, dance, flex, indulge or just simply relax in the steam/sauna.

Go on, help us make a difference to a child's future and please donate now.

Many thanks for your support.
