We see our wildlife disappearing and work to stop the devastating rate of extinction

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I wouldn't call myself a natural runner. Not speed of wind or light of foot. I'm more of the steady old tortoise, but the years on a judo mat, followed by some years of karate, has I hope, given me some mental strength and stamina. If I do one marathon it has to be in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. What will be a 26.2 mile site seeing tour, can be followed by chilling out drinking wine and eating delicious food. What could be better!

Those of you who know me, know that I have a love for wildlife, and in particular hedgehogs. In my lifetime almost 2/3rds of species in the UK have declined. This rate of decline can be stopped and supporting 'Peoples Trust for Endangered Species' helps the work that goes into doing this. 30 years ago in the centre of London I would furiously be woken up by the dawn chorus of birds. I would dearly love my grand-children to have the same experience.
