Story
£50,000 will allow us to build a desperately needed isolation unit at the Cats Protection Haslemere Adoption Centre in Surrey.
The Haslemere adoption centre has already found loving new homes for over 200 cats and kittens this year. Isolation is used for cats that are unwell and need to be kept separately. Current isolation facilities at the centre are not adequate and urgently need replacing so that we can help even more cats.
This money will allow us to build a self-contained unit of 3 isolation pens with all required equipment. This means we can:
- Increase the number of cats we are able to find new homes for
- Ensure that cats that become ill receive the best possible care, without putting others at risk
- Take a huge strain off our volunteers who run our branches who do not have the resources to deal with this problem
- Make our Haslemere a centre of excellence in the area for helping with the control of infectious diseases in cats.
Please help the cats at Haslemere Adoption Centre now!
