Can you imagine having to learn to speak again from scratch?  Having to learn to read again?  Or only being able to see one half of all objects, or not being able to remember, concentrate or empathise the way you used to?

These are just a few of the battles that survivors of brain injury are fighting every day. 

Headway East London is a charity that supports people who have had their lives completely changed by brain injury. They offer specialist support and services for over 200 survivors, family, friends and carers each week in 13 London Boroughs.

A team from Anthony Gold solicitors will be taking part in the 'Do It For Charity' Superhero Fun Run on Sunday 15th May 2016, to raise money for Headway East London.

The firm has supported Headway East London (HEL) for a number of years and have seen first hand the fantastic work that they do.  HEL provide therapies, advocacy, family support and community support work alongside a day service: a community venue where members can make the most of their abilities and interests. Their occupational projects include an art studio, writing projects and a professional kitchen where members cook every day for other members, volunteers, staff and people from surrounding businesses.

The team are so grateful for any donation.  No amount is too small; it will all go towards helping someone with a life-changing injury. 

And we promise to put up photos of us puffing away in costume!
