Only decided to start raising for this cause as I think it's appropriate with my past history of congenital heart disease. I've only less than two weeks to start raising. Didn't think I would have ever managed to run 10k but got more confidence in training. Without the support of this charity, families of children with congenital heart disease would spend a fortune on costs for fuel, food and accommodation whilst their child spends time in hospital. This was the case when I spent 7 weeks after open heart surgery in the Golden Jubilee Hospital as my parents had to travel and stay at the hospital. I would appreciate any help you can give.
