Story

In April 2016 I had the pleasure of visiting The Farm Animal Sanctuary in Evesham. I met the owner - Jan - and many of the wonderful characters that live there, including Colin the pig and Kevin and Perry the lambs. Unfortunately, this wonderful charity does not get all the fundraising it needs to look after these beautiful animals, and when Jan spoke of needing more funds, I decided to do something about it. I'm running Cardiff Half Marathon because I believe that every animal deserves the chance to live a long, happy and healthy life in a place where they are loved. The Farm Animal Sanctuary is exactly that. Please donate to this wonderful cause! Thank you.

About the charity

The sanctuary gives a permanent home to over 600 farm animals rescued from neglect, cruelty, starvation and abandonment. We campaign peacefully to improve conditions for farm animals and conditions in livestock markets. At the Sanctuary farm animals are for life and not for slaughter.
