As most of you know now, at the end of April I am running the London Marathon. What? Why? You're Crazy! 26Miles!! HA! This has been the general response and yes this runs (no pun intended) through my head a lot at just 6miles of running! However its something i have always wanted to achieve as well as raising money for some great Charities too...... So Why Not and because i can is my answer!

I got a place to run this year through a charity called Albany Taxis; Albany Taxis is a group of licensed black cab drivers (over 100 of them), every year they organise trips to lots of different and fun locations for disabled children and their friends and families. The aim of this being to bring some laughter and joy into the lives of the children and these outings certainly do this. They are attended by taxi drivers not only from London but also from the suburbs, they supply themselves and their taxi all free of charge and are always on hand to help out. Albany Taxis also now give money to schools and homes to purchase crucial equipment from wheelchairs to hand bells, in fact any thing that the local councils cannot supply.

So as you can see its a great cause and any donations, big or small, would be greatly appreciated. I am aiming to complete as close to 4 hours as i can so your support/banners/cheers and love on the big day to watch me run (a brisk walk) would be great! ;-)
