I am embarking on this trek in November this year with my friend Manisha. This is going to be a great experience and we decided we would like to do it for charity and give something back.
For those of you who really know either of us, you'll know we are not the most active of people (sitting around and eating is generally our forte and the most amount of walking we've done on any sandy surface is from a sun lounger to the bar!!) so this is going to be a tough challenge for us so we would really appreciate your support and any donation you are able to give.
We know that lots of people do things for charity, especially at this time of year and it can get a bit much, but anything you are able to give would be much appreciated, not only by us but by our chosen charities (mine - Cancer Unit at Northwick Park Hospital and Manisha - Make A Wish Foundation).
