Children and young people with epilepsy are more likely to suffer from anxiety and depression than their peers, EPIC offers them support.

Story

Our son Jimi was diagnosed with epilepsy 3.5 years ago. Jimi suffers from a rare type of epilepsy called Landau Kleffner Syndrome.
I am fundraising for EPIC - Supporting Children and Young People with Epilepsy in Gloucestershire. EPIC organises peer events and also funds diagnostic equipment.

Our family life has changed massively since Jimi was diagnosed with epilepsy. As a mum, watching your child have regular seizures and having to cope with a serious, long-term condition, can be heart-breaking. That's why I started training for the Cheltenham half marathon, having never run before - to raise money for EPIC.
