I've decided to do dry January this year, but have chosen to pass on any donations I receive to Positive Action in Housing as one of the few registered charities raising funds for people helping on the ground in Lesvos (particularly www.helpanyway.com) , where hundreds of refugees arrive every day, often traumatised and injured. PAIH also do excellent work finding safe volunteer accommodation for refugees and asylum seekers. I want these people to know they're not a burden.
