So it's my 30th birthday on Wednesday 14th October. When people asked me what I wanted as a gift I could only think of 2 things - a lamp and an alarm clock. I think I'll probably get those things and if I don't I'll manage to get them myself.

I'm not expecting presents from people and I don't go without but if you want to use this opportunity to bless me by helping an organisation I'm massively passionate about in lieu of a present then please consider making a donation the Gingerbread.

It's at big birthdays when you look back on your life and wonder what possible alternative scenarios would have been. I know that I'm reaching my 30th in a far better place than I would have been if Gingerbread didn't exist! Please help them to help more people like me and Matthew xx
