Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 24th April I will be attempting to run the London Marathon for the first time, with my brother Dan and friend Jules. With 10 weeks of training, (and some serious miles!) now under my belt it seemed the right time to ask you all to dig deep for a wonderful charity, Kith & Kids.
Kith & Kids provides activities, opportunities, information and support for people with a learning disability or autism, their parents and siblings.
I've seen first hand the joy they bring to my sister-in-law Oriel, who has angelman syndrome, through the holiday time projects and weekend clubs their wonderful volunteers provide. Oriel always comes back so happy from these events, having spent the day with friends out on day trips, or creating art and music. These days are dependent on the time and energy of truly fabulous volunteers, who not only ensure Oriel and her friends have lots of fun, but provide some invaluable respite for their parents and carers.
So dig deep, and if you're about, come on the day and cheer us on - we'll need all the support we can get!
Check out more of the great work this charity does at their website: http://www.kithandkids.org.uk/
Thank you in advance for your amazing generosity.
