I have lived in Derby for over 4 years and I want to support the Derby Churches Night Shelter who provide food and shelter for the homeless in Derby during the winter months. This initiative was started by the Derby City Mission  when provision for the homeless was stopped.

Also in the last 18 months I have changed my own lifestyle and now include walking as part of my daily routine.  Because my fitness has improved I feel able to undertake something like this.   In giving to my page you are giving to a very important cause and supporting those who would otherwise find the winter in Derby very difficult.  

I will be walking the Two Saints way from Lichfield to Stoke on Trent with other members of my family starting on 12 August.  You can find out more about the Two Saints way on their website www.twosaints way.org.uk
